Chapter Thirty!
Do you know what this means guys?? Mortifer has made it to 30 CHAPTERS.
I have done a TON of comics before, but mostly they all ended at the dreaded 23 chapter mark. Or somewhere in the low 20s. Mortifer has ACTUALLY BROKEN GROUND compared to all my other comics. This is amazing, thank you all for your support!

Okay and about the chapter, I know I promised a fun happy chapter after the last one, I drew it up and everything, but when I looked back I went "Oh crap no, this would ruin the timing and the mood of the comic." So I figured it was much more important to take it out and put it in the back of volume 5. It was a cross over with Evil Plan, my favorite webcomic which the link is always lovingly at the bottom of every page of Mortifer. *Just scroll down all the way*
Anyway, I had alot of issues concerninng this chapter, I mean ALOT. I kept wondering if it was too different, too psychological, too strange, if I should keep it in, take it out... I mean I spent months trying to figure out if I should keep it. Deciding later, it was very important to put this chapter in if I wanted to try and keep the ending of Mortifer set up as I want it to.
But dont worry fans, Mortifer has at least 12 more chapters to go. <3
I know I saw this a few months back, but hush, I'm gonna comment again.
I *adore* this cover; I think it's easily one of your best pieces. The lighting is great (especially on the crack), each vignette around the edge has its own feel that doesn't distract, but instead adds to the whole, and Joey (or should we say Kain, now?) is stunning in the middle. He really makes you stop to stare.
And just how long have we been waiting to see you really go at that eye? *Shivers*
OMG I LOVE THIS ONE!!!
A) OMG I faved this when you put it up on DA a while back!! This is amazing, I especially love the syblolism of the Glass cracking....a bit like his sanity.....
B) I updated again!!! The Twisty-Turny plotline that I told you about comes into effect now!! ^^
This Cover Image is...priceless.
I'm not sure why, but this cover makes me feel really sad for some reason. This whole page seems to have a despairing subtext to it. Kain(middle) looks so hopeless as if he's drowning in despair. His yellow eye is so...so...soulless. It reaches to my heart. The last bit of glass dangling from Joey's shattered mirror-body is like the last vestiges of his insanity. Somehow the image with knives in joey and even Kain's bloody, insanity makes the cover page seem all the sadder to me.T_T
P.S. Kole's imprisoned form looks so sad it breaks my heart. I love how all the different images some together without messing up the overall image, but actually adding to its supreme greatness!
P.S.S. The feet(are they Kain's?) look so lonely it's sad. The way they just overlook the body on the ground(is it Kole's mother?)seems so sad. This may be your best work yet! It speaks to all my senses-body, mind, heart, soul. It both enlightens and feels me with a deep sorrow. I love it.

Your comment was trully amazing on this, and I decided to go check comments before sleeping tonight. This is the best chapter cover so far. All of a sudden I feel like re-reading Mortifer.
